The Flat Belly Diet


The Flat Belly Diet is one of the more popluar fad diets that have come along in the last couple of years.  Many people looking to lose weight are always watching out for a magic bullet or lose weight fast type of diet.  These generally require a minimal amount of excersise and really appeal to many people.  The Flat Belly Diet promises to help you lose up to 15 pounds in just over one months time.  Even better it promises to do this by just changing your diet and eaten certain foods that it recommends.
What could be better, the flat belly diet helps you lose weight while you are eating.  Now this probably makes much more sense and probably helps explain why it is so appealing.  With the recent focus from people in the medical field on how bad belly fat is for ones healh, this has caused a kind of mad dash to diets promising to help people cut that belly fat.  The diet is a mediterranean type diet and asks its followers to stick to a 1600 calorie meal plan with foods they recommend.  Some of the foods the flat belly diet includes are whole grains, beans, nuts, fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, seeds, and most importantly you are only allowed to eat red meat one type every month.  With the last mentioned part of the diet meal plan it might lose a lot of potential followers. 
The creators of The Flat Belly Diet do claim to have secret for the diet to really work.  The secret is to add monounsaturated fat to the diet plan.  Foods that contain this type of fat are avocados, seeds, dark, chocolate, olives, flax, soybean, nuts, olive oil, and sunflower oil.  How ironic, you have to eat good fats to get rid of the bad belly fat.  We will be providing more info for the the flat belly diet it the future so stay tuned.
